19-year-old Shannon Purser recently made her acting debut playing Barb in Stranger Things. Her character who has become a cult phenomenon even inspiring a hashtag, JusticeForBarb. Purser met with top casting directors in L.A. recently and met with executives from major networks. It’s been reported that Purser will have a small role in Melissa McCarthy’s upcoming film Life of the Party.
