  1. Damn, he completely took an amazing Black Sabbath song and made it his own. I heard soulful and Changes and was like, ya maybe it’ll fit with kind of a MoTown sound, but holy shit, this was on point.

  2. I was working SXSW when I was about to cross I-35 and I hear Charles Bradley performing on the other idea of the fence where I was standing. I loved that he made it after his struggles. I love that he never gave up. I loved his music. I missed my chance to see him live but I did get to hear him.

I was on foot and walking toward the east side.

  3. If your into interesting Sabbath covers spend some time checking out Brownout performing as Brown Sabbath. Two full albums of covers available and pretty damn awesome.

  4. Charles Bradley’s face always has this ***intense*** amount of emotion like he lives the song one moment at a time. The man was gifted in helping people feel that.

  5. thank you for this post. I’ve never heard of this man, but holy mother of god what a voice. This was an incredible video, the emotion and soul he was projecting was amazing.

  6. Man I’m SO lucky I got to see him last summer right before he passed.

I don’t even think that I planned on watching him and somehow my really close friends and I ended up sitting in the grass as he sang The World.

It was like an out of body experience.

    RIP

  7. This is the theme song to Big Mouth on Netflix and now it seems inappropriate because this is so soulful and heartful and Big Mouth is a cartoon that is just a long dick and vagina joke lol
