The funniest part wasn’t her awful singing, but the reactions. You clearly hear the crowd burst into laughter around the 2:00 mark.

I knew it was coming and I still cringed so hard. That was like some horrible attempt to turn the National Anthem into a burlesque song. And that finale… holy shit.
This was icing on the shit cake that was Kevin Hart’s half-hour poop show.
Why do so many singers do this? Is it one-upmanship? I call it the Whitney effect. Everyone tries to sing like Whitney Houston, by over-doing it, and every time it just sounds forced and cringy.
It’s the National Anthem, not “I Will Always Love You”.
