  1. I bet festive street is not like that anymore . The costume shops been turned into a mosque , all the houses are owned by Pakistani Imigrants and you can't walk down the street for all the full split black bin bags thrown onto the pavement spewing filth and diesese everywhere . The councils spending money like it's gone out of fashion and nobody can see where it's going , all the teen aged girls are up the spout carrying half breed kid's and the boys are mugging old ladies to feed their crack habit . The police have declined to get involved incase the race relations board get involved , and you can't walk the street at night . SOUND FAMILIAR .

  2. Listen, I'm still a teenager right now but my mum was so obsessed with this show when she was a kid that they have become permanent memories for me as we always used to watch them at my aunt's house as she had a big DVD collection.

  3. the good thing about these mr benn cartoons is that they had political points about the story.
We should educate our politicians by making them watch these things.
    Knock some sense into them.

  4. What was the ice cream van sub plot all about? Did it contain a subliminal message? Was there a subtle moral that prepared us emotionally for the main story? Or was it just a little story about Mr Ben missing the ice cream van?

  5. Back in Festive Road, the usual street things were going on. The children there didn't look hungry………because they were all clinically obese due to unhealthy eating and the lack of any type of physical activity. At his gate, Mr Benn remembered the wooden spoon in his pocket. He smiled and thought, ''I've traversed time and space, saved an entire kingdom and all I've got to show for it is a fucking spoon!'' Cue music and titles.
