Holy shit that was clenching
Awesome…..is it available in the USA?

Am I the only one who thought he was saying mum all that time 😐 what a promotional video, makes me wanna watch it now lmao
it’s a really good scene, ruined if you actually think about where the sniper is located and where the bullets actually go.
It’s DAKINGINDANORF
Really tempted to pay my BBC tax just for that show.
The show’s called The Bodyguard.
It’s written by Jed Mercurio, the same guy who wrote Line of Duty.
As you can see it’s got Keeley Hawes and guy who played Rob Stark in GoT.
Rob Stark
Another brilliant part from episode two is the truck bombing (@12:39).

“a UK TV show”??? What fucking show is it?!
The first scene from the first episode on the train was amazing. Best scene of telly I’ve watched in ages and probably better than OPs.
The KING IN THE NORTH!!!
Would 100% recommend this. I’d also recommend The Line Of Duty, the first couple of seasons of that were absolutely brilliant. Great twists throughout.
British TV shows seem to have a better understanding of using the camera and blocking as story telling devices, their shots and sequences are often well planned.
[The opening scene to ep 1 was awesome too.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oz7P7t4yEfA)
It’s created by Jed Mercurio who also was responsible for the excellent [Line of Duty](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUzQhOmroIY)
It’s about a police corruption squad, so is full of suspense and cliffhangers. It’s on netflix UK not sure about the US.
Totally worth watching if you like Bodyguard.
YT algorithm seems to be pushing this clip hard onto the front page. Good move of the bbc to post this online for free and leave it with a cliffhanger.
If anyone felt tense while watching this scene as was wondering what exactly made it so tense. Part of it is due to the background sound design, which uses something known as a Shepard’s tone. Here’s a great [video](https://youtu.be/LVWTQcZbLgY) explaining how the background music helps contribute to this feeling. (Jump to 19s in).
From wiki: it is an auditory illusion of a tone that continually ascends or descends in pitch, yet which ultimately seems to get no higher or lower.

If only Rob Stark protected his mother like this in game of thrones
Here is a comparison of the video to the location. https://imgur.com/a/VwbPm1m
It’s a 1000 foot (300 meter) shot, which isn’t too bad. Sniper must have had a spotter in order to know when to shoot. He would have only had an instant to shoot the driver, as the sniper was firing down a pretty narrow corridor.
And what the fuck kind of phone does Robb Stark have. Over the shoulder snap at 1000 ft and it’s clear enough for him to zoom in on the shooter. That picture is the most implausible part of the video.
(Probably wasted 90 minutes looking through video, scrubbing through maps, putting together the screenshots, all to be posted on a 9 hour old video and no one will ever see this…)
Wheres the “AD” tag
Is it me or is this English extremely difficult to understand for a non native speaker?
I thought it was interesting how he put on the MP cap to show he was a police officer.
If this were in the US, if TV shows are to be believed, he would’ve just had a badge hanging from a lanyard around his neck.
I suppose in France, he would’ve just put on an orange armband.
