2. FAMILY HOME: Goose
ADDRESS: Ambatolampy

🇲🇬 Two hours outside of the capital city Antananarivo lies a small Malagasy village, Ambatolampy. We spent the day with a local family, who live in clay houses they built, on a rice farm which provides food for the family. Any additional rice they have, they sell to make a living. The family of 25 invited us to join them for a family feast of goose. One goose feeds the entire family, and we were fortunate enough to be able to experience this family meal.

🥒ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. People either enjoyed my undeniable charm or enjoyed watching me eat things like coconut worms, and thus Best Ever Food Review Show came to be.

I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer. If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

Don’t forget to subscribe to Best Ever Food Review Show, so we can connect through food and travel and become Bestys!

  1. Sunny I know you're a good guy but these people SHARE A SINGLE GOOSE with you! Bruuuuh idk but I would bring two extra fuggen geese and a BUCKET of RUM! I would be like "bruuh here are 2 for your trouble and some booze, now coock up that thang my man, cost me minor pens" …your thoughts on this?

  2. Not a quick slit – 3 or 4 slicked to open a goose neck :/ – 3rd world slaughter methods are innately cruel due to lack of information – they could have broken the neck or knocked it out prior to – but unfortunately religion and cultural tradition keep cruelty alive in such a place

  3. More than 4 million people die each year from the soot from cooking. Please show them a simple rocket stove to make. They smoke much less, and save a lot of firewood at the same time.
