  1. Totally agree! Have all the things you mentioned, essential for a designer's tool belt. Senn. HD 202 all the way, on my 2nd pair – quality for budget. Great work space with natural lighting, Chris Do, great books, and most importantly… COFFEE! Is what I would add.

  2. A wacom tablet is ESSENTIAL. A mechanical keyboard also help heaps for your fingers if you type a lot. Lastly, if you have the money spend it on a good display. Make sure your designs are colour correct. My 2 cents.

  3. Thanx for the useful advise. I am fairly new to graphic design but many years ago I found some of the the Adobe Illustrator techniques like drawing vectors a little too tiring so I wondered back than if it were possible do just draw something on a tablet and than just turn it into vectors (if you need them) rather than going throurgh all that hard and tiring drawing of vectors.
    So, my question is:
Is the time of drawing vectors in the Illustratir over with these drawing tablets now?

  4. If you're getting an iPad just add an Apple Pencil and Astropad instead the graphics tablet, and you may save on your budget and on space/weight if you work on a laptop. To this list I'd change the digital camera for a second display — dual or triple 27in displays make it super effortless to get your work done, you can have your canvas/document on one and the tools, the Finder windows with different assets, an XML editor, Notes, a couple of web browsers, iTunes/Spotify, Mail, RDP/VNC, etc on the other…on the other hand I have a full frame dSLR I impulse-bought some years back, costed me a quite a bit it, used it for a like month and it's been on its bag since then. ?

  5. Anyone from 2018?
If I just started learning photoshoping, logo designing , etc by myself , should I buy a wacom instantly or can I use the touch screen of my laptop? Lenovo Yoga 510. It doesnt support pens so I could only draw with fingers.. or buy the cheapest wacom one?

  6. yeah those sennheiser headphones are really good even for mixing your music as well. i used to have them and they broke but i was still recommend for those on a budget. as a person who pretty much strictly uses Windows, would u say there are any downfalls 2 using it as appose to mac??
