Brimful Of Asha is from the classic When I Was Born For The 7th Time album. It was John Peel’s Festive 50 no.1 on BBC Radio 1 in 1997, and this version made it to no.1 in the UK charts. Norman Cook liked the original so much he requested to mix it himself, and it resulted in one of the most well known tracks that the world has ever heard.

Doesn't seem to have the same 'kick' to it as when I was listening to it on cassette. Digital media seems to tame down music.
This song will be the reason for me failing statistics, totally worth it.
Wow now this is a classic!
A classic! Quality music that I can't help but get up and move to!
I loved this song before I went to school, I am now 12 years old.
Childhood come back!
I'm hearing this for the first time and I love it! And I'm old enough to remember what 45's are.
I am lucky to grow up in Europe in the 90's. BRING ME BACK MY 90's DAMMIT!!

There's dancing
Behind movie scenes
Behind the movie scenes
Sadi Rani
She's the one that keeps the dream alive
From the morning
Past the evening
To the end of the light
Brimful of Asha on the 45
Well it's a brimful of Asha on the 45
And dancing
Behind movie scenes
Behind those movie scenes
Asha Bhosle
She's the one that keeps the dream alive
From the morning
Past the evening
To the end of the light
Brimful of Asha on the 45
Well it's a brimful of Asha on the 45
Everybody needs a bosom for a pillow
Everybody needs a bosom
Mine's on the 45
And singing
Illuminate the main streets
And the cinema aisles
We don't care bout no
Gov't warnings,
'bout their promotion of a simple life
And the dams they're building
Brimful of Asha on the 45
Well it's a brimful of Asha on the 45
Everybody needs a bosom for a pillow
Everybody needs a bosom
Mine's on the 45
Brimful of Asha on the 45
Well it's a brimful of Asha on the 45
Everybody needs a bosom for a pillow
Everybody needs a bosom
I'm singin', and dancin'
They should just play this anywhere in the world where there's conflict, hatred and intolerance. Everything would instantly get sorted. What a fucking yossi.
I had a dream I knew all the words to this song. When I woke up it had come true
I've been looking for this song for years, finally…
