  1. background music is a bit too loud. I had a real hard time hearing you over it on the last segment of your video. Other than that, I loved the info and subscribed to your channel.

I do a lot of cooking out in the weeds, and dutch ovens are the bomb, although I've found they are really hard to control temperature inside when NOT USING briquets. When using wood coals, I get it wrong a lot: oak coals keep heat longer, ash and hickory burn hot but not as long, osage orange is super hot and usually burns the food inside, maple burns fast with a flash then gets cold… any advice on how to control temps on natural campfires using whatever wood is available at the time?

(BTW…great idea on that table to save the back!)

  2. I found this vid when I was researching brands and quality. I LOVE cast iron cookware will soon be investing in my own set as I haven't had access to any, for regular use, in quite a long time. It makes the best food EVER and anywhere from home fries and cakes, to biscuits or noodles. I was very happy to see the recipes and showing 'how-to' as I love cooking. I do have to admit though, my favorite thing to make in cast iron is pineapple upside down cake 🙂
Thank you for these vids 🙂

  3. Don't use Music you don't know how you're not Spielberg stop it. It's annoying it's distracting all I need is information.

  4. thanks for the video, going to use my indoor dutch oven outdoors with a pie crust cover on top and trivet thanks to another video
