Frugal Cooking Recipe: Garden Fresh Tomato Soup

If you have cardiac issues USE LOW SODIUM bouillon to make it heart friendly !!

12 Cups Of Tomatoes (2 cups if you want the smaller version)
8 – Cups chicken/ vegan broth (4 Cup for smaller version)

“` Better than Bouillon is organic I like that brand!

Cut tomatoes fresh

Add to simmering chicken or vegan bollioun

Simmer for 20 minutes

Now add you lovely dried Celery

Heaping of fresh Garlic

Now Strain your soup and take the tomatoes ONLY and puree it to your liking

ADD it back to the booth
THAN…

Make Your rue:

Coconut Flour/ Butter make

Add to soup

AT THE END dont forget the DASH of AGAVE or MON FRUIT Sugar to offset the acid and to smooth out the tomatoes soup

(Monk fruit has ZERO CARBS use if your diabetic..better then Stevie I think personally taste better)

  2. I bought 12 pounds of ORGANIC potatoes today from the clearance for $2 total! So excited. Could have got another 6 lbs but left it for another bargain hunter. Only a couple potatoes had tiny eyes on them. So I will process them for the freezer. Those deals make me soo happy 😀. You are the best!!!

  3. Starry, I’ve just watched your video for the second time. Would this recipe work if I use my homemade tomato sauce instead of whole tomatoes. I have an auto immune disease and have been reading that the seeds and skin contain an ingredient (lectin?) that causes which RA patients do not need more of. During the process of making my tomato sauce I put them through a press that removes peeling and seeds. I realize there will be no tomato chunks but I’m ok with that!

  4. Saving this video in my recipe file. I stopped putting celery in the water because the new growths don't get big……but, as I thought about what you said, I could take the growths & dry them for cooking with. It will be slow in collecting, but, in time, I might have enough. By the way, Starry, I never have minded the way you say celery. Just be your sweet self.

Work in the medical field and we are the first ones to tell our patients to eat better and take care of ourselves but the last to take our own advice.   9. I just got really large onions for 5/1.00 so I bought 10 and am dehydrating them today. My tomatoes here in the deep south are just now coming in as well as my cucumbers and I am soooo excited! Me to on the garlic person! YUM and soooo good for you! I buy those large bags of it at Sams club that is already peeled and dehydrate that to. Then grind it in my coffee grinder that I keep for these purposes. You can't use but about 1/4 tea. of that stuff because it is VERY strong! Goes to show how LONG the ones at the stores stay on the shelves since it isn't as strong and I check ingredients to and it says only garlic.
    You said that right. Celery 😀 We all mispronounce words, ALL of us. Even those that think they're always right. 😀 Soup looks yummy! I don't eat wheat, but it looks yummy!
