Welcome to Murbco, The South Australian Riverland, 2011 was bumper year for yabbies and our friend Dave shares some of his cooking tips on the best way to cook them.
Hey i was wondering if the yabbies in the Wynn Vale Dam are edible. Me and my mate just went there with a yabbie net and have caught about 14 now but threw them all back because i dident know if it was edible or not
Thanks for the comments, for those still not sure how to cook the yabbies, you put them in the boiling water until they turn red and then leave them in a bit more and then take them out and eat them when cool enough, hope this is not too much information
