The egg slicer is a common gadget in Czech households. I have no idea why, maybe it is an post-commies residue. BUT, I find kinda useful. And you did it wrong. When you use the "star" slicing part, you put in the egg VERTICALLY, so you have perfect crescents. For the circles, you put the egg in horizontally, as you did. We make here a lot of small "sandwiches", we call them "little breads", literally translated, and we put the egg circles on them, so we use it quite a lot. Also when we make buffet dinner with olives, cheeses, ham and eggs, then you usually serve the eggs cut into crescents. Amazing Czech party food, if you ask me 😀

Try the robot with sugar cookies, or gingerbread.
You should use sugar cookie dough not chocolate chip cookie dough

I though the egg cutter was a normal thing everyone knew about! 😮 At least it's here in Finland it's a pretty common find in the kitchen

Chocolate chip cookies do have baking soda in them. Try the cutters with something like gingerbread or sugar cookies instead ( no leavening )
