The best of my animation work from Alien: Isolation. I was responsible for animating the Alien, both for gameplay and in-game cinematics. It was one heck of a challenge both artistically and technically, but great fun and a massive privilege to be given this responsibility. See below for reel breakdown:

Animation Breakdown –

01. Alien Reveal part 1- Player, FP Camera and Alien animation all keyframed by myself.

02. Player is cleaned up motion capture, a lot of work needed to make it work for the First Person camera. Alien is all keyframed.

03. Player, FP Camera and Alien all keyframed by myself.

04. Player, FP Camera and Alien all keyframed by myself.

05. Player, FP Camera and Alien all keyframed by myself.

06. Alien Reveal part 2- Player, FP Camera and Alien animation all keyframed by myself.

07. Alien in game locomotion – all keyframed by myself. Forward motion on Z of varied speed, parametric turns at those speeds and motion on X all created to support our three-dimensional blended solution. Tail is in game physics solution.

10. Player is edited mocap, Alien is keyframed and so is camera.
