This also works awesomely in a pan of fried asian noodles; we've got a mongolian around here that puts just little strips of these in there
This is scary. I'm very picky about tamago. Before I place an order, I'll ask if they make the tamago or if they get it from the company. If they make it, I'll pass. If they get it from the company, I'll order. I've had restaurant-made tamago and I didn't like the taste. I buy mine from the lil' Japanese market. I save so much money now that I make my own sushi. I only eat certain ones and I make all of them myself.
Where is the list of ingredients?
Thank you so much for sharing. I love this recipe.
Wow! You're amazing! All your videos are incredible. Best of the best. Could you tell me what kind of burner you are using?
this guy is sloopy…looks like crap.
My freind and his father the late and great Roy was a sushi chef most of his life..He got me a pan and told me to sear the pan before I tried to make this..
You’re fired
I'm currently considering to buy a pan like this, I did some quite decent Tamagoyaki in a round pan but only manged to turn 3 layers. So I'm really exited for this pan. But I'll wait untill February untill I order because I live in Germany, and the free trade agreement between the EU and Japan begins effect on 1.February. So I'll save import taxes by then :).
Thank you, it's strange how come Japanese people never show this recipe? Thanks again!
You make it look so easy! XD I really wanna try this out. Tamogoyaki just looks so fluffy and nice~
Great…came out very nice. I just wish there were some better views of the flip. Having never flipped something like that in that way with a chopstick, it would have been nice to really see that part…especially up close and with slo-mo. But, oh well, there's enough to figure it out. Really liked the video though….thanks for sharing it!
In some restaurants I've seen them wrap it in thin strips of seaweed or something do you know what that is ?
Your links do not work
It looks like a mouth gasm.
I want that cooking pan.

Can you use butter instead of oil? I do not like using oils.
so the sweet taste comes from the wine or dashi sauce?
I finally made time to make it…thank you for the help! it turned out great. I just cant flip it like you can yet 🙂
you did really well … good teaching
The first time I ate that Sweet Japanese Omelet was at my old job my boss made it
Now going to try to make it myself
some hens worked hard to make those eggs you wasted at the end!
I am very inspired..
https://youtu.be/gOqPVxwQUN8 i think the result is more nicer in this video
So you used ANY cooking oil? Vegetable? Cannoli? Which do the Japanese use most for this kind of dish?
Oishii
Why am I learning this from a white person
More of these!
IT MAKES SQUISHY SOUNDS..eeehh….
Question: Would you describe this omelet with a sweet taste?
Do you need to use a special cloth to rub the oil on the pan? If yes, what is it called and where can I find it?
just make it with a simple wok . it's fine
This was great. Thanks so much. My first attempt at tamagoyaki worked really well, even thought I had only a round pan.
You guys must be fucking good at origanmy..folding those layers so perfectly. I know the first thing I would do is splash the hot egg into my face lol. Nice video, much appreciated.
