  1. I've made this recipe before, and they turned out OK but after watching all of your tips and tricks the batch I just made turned out fantastic – so light and fluffy and delicious thanks heaps for all the advice!! I think resting the dough made a big difference, and also the way they're cut out. I don't have a cutting ring so just used a cup and they still came out really great – it's amazing how much they rise from 2.5cm thick! Much love from Wellington 🙂

  2. I have been making this recipe for years now, and I love it,  but have never used a heated tray for the baking. I will certainly try that. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Good Video,No need for the background music. Plenty of interesting tips,Ginger Ale,Heat Baking Tray,Salt the Flour,Push the cutter down quickly, and gentle ,gentle, gentle, with scones. That's a pretty tight work surface BTW. Thanks and Cheers.

  4. well….I have just made these scones and they are fab!!!!!! been trying different recipes for ages and this is so easy as well as tasty. I will try to make them with fruit next time. Thanksx

  5. Yeah – someone who makes real scones.   Most people make rock scones and pretend they are wonderful, I feel sorry for those who are trying to learn.  I make the scones with the butter, I did try one time to put them on the pre-heated tray, and they collapsed, they had to be made on a cold tray for my butter recipe.

  6. Good recipe but your bangles kept clanging as you were talking.
