I used to love this song but then forgot the name moving to a new phone, ultimately forgetting the words thinking it said “hello there Madonna” for the longest time. Repeatedly humming the beat to almost everyone trying to figure out the name of the song. Finally, almost 5 years later finally find this song. And you know the worst part? I listen to lots of their songs ??? why?!? At least my frustration through the past few years has ended ??
Strangely enough this was not a hit when it was first released. Some 9 months after its release, and likely because of its reference to Christmas in the lyrics, it hit the big time in December. Its one of my favourites along with Johnny 2 bad.
When they sold out nobody who bought that first album could understand but at the end of the day they couldn't replicate it or beat it and despite being a bargain bin special a charity shop staple for such a long time it still resonates today
