TIL magician Penn Jillette attempted to film the “ultimate” coin-behind-the-ear trick by having Teller pull a coin from behind his actual ear during ear surgery. The footage has never been released.
~~Some time last year he posted on social media about wanting to do a tour with none of his parodies in the set list. I would love to see that.~~ Apparently this is that tour and it has already passed through my neck of the woods. ***FUCK***
He did Cinnamon Girl at the Apollo a few weeks back. It was such a close and personal show. I went alone and had the time of my life. I loved his new cut of Albuquerque; definitely didn’t see that coming…
To all reading this: if you have a chance to see him live…do it. There is a reason this man has been culturally relevant for 35 years without ANY silly stunts or controversies. The man is an EXCELLENT musician and performer. Do yourself a favor and check out his tour dates.
Weird Al is hilarious and super-smart. I used to think he was just a goofball, but I listened more closely and realized how brilliant his lyrics are. Go Al!!
I got to see him in Evansville IN last year and it blew my mind. Childhood dream come true to be quite honest. This cover is just a prime example of his musical talent.
I’m not a huge fan, but I took my Dad because he really loves his stuff and it was a really, really good show. Weird Al is a fantastic performer and the show was super fun. Kind of a weird crowd, but still fun.
God bless that man
He’s basically a vocal chameleon right? I wouldn’t be surprised if he started opera singing immediately after this.
[He did it very well. Heres Billy boy doing it himself live](https://youtu.be/XU9mhfNygNA?t=44s)
The next big supergroup Billy and Al? Where’s Ted and Tommy and Les? Make it happening.
With his goofy exterior and catalog of parodies, it can be easy to forget there’s a really talented musician in there.
I love Weird Al.
Had the pleasure of watching a performance when I was a kid.

Saw him in Pittsburgh a few weeks ago and he did a really great cover of Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting.
Met him after the show and he was very friendly and soft-spoken.
Something is very odd-looking about that song being sung while sitting down.
What does this mean? Is he going to stop doing parodies and go full “Normal Al” on us?

Well who knew

HOLY SHIT! That is fucking awesome!
Holy crap, Al fucking shreds that shit.
I was really hoping for an accordion. Still awesome though.
What a beautiful human.

Man, I was so upset this tour came no where near me. Closest show was a 5 hour drive and on a Wednesday.
Guitarist for Weird Al seems like the best job in the world
He did a “Last Train to Clarksville” when I saw him the other week. Killed it. What a great show.
meh…this was my go-to karaoke song back when I was young and did that kind of thing.
Is he in a church? There’s an organ behind him.

I need to see Weird Al play in person before I die.
Why do people gotta sing along?
Hey, I was at that show. Emo Philips was the opening act. It was really great.
Weirdo Al is such a good guy. Any fans of podcasts should check out his appearances on Comedy Bang Bang
