I was an extra in this movie in the ice skating scene. Even made it into the movie. Elijah wasn’t super famous during filming, so he would actually hang out a bit with the other extra kids. We never saw Macauley, who was a full blown movie star, outside a shoot. He just hid in his trailer all day. Not that I blame him- he was STUPIDLY famous at the time. It was a super fun two weeks and I made $800 or so, which was a LOT to a 9th grader in the 90s.

I wonder how they filmed this. It doesn’t look like green screen. I can’t imagine they dangled these children over a cliff, even with wires. Anyone have any idea?

Good movie, I feel bad for Macaulay Culkin’s character in this movie. He was obsessed with the Ring of Power, which ruined his life. He was willing to die by falling off the cliff just to hold it one last time…

Holy shit this movie fucked up my 10 year old brain, why is Kevin McCalister acting like this? Did he take fucking with the robbers way too far and develop an obsession? It’s no wonder his family kept leaving him home alone, they needed a vacation away from him trying to kill them all the damn time.
OMG. When I was a kid my mom got this movie on a bootleg Chinese DVD titled “Home Alone 3”. They even photoshoped the cover and everything. She put it on for me and my friends WE WERE SO TRAUMATIZED

This movie fucked me up as a kid. I adored McChulay Culkin as a kid and seeing him in an antagonistic role screwed me big time.
This was as filmed at Palisade Head on the North shore of Lake Superior in MN. Super cool place to go exploring.
