  1. I wonder if the fact he’s trying not to laugh is to show that it’s a joke but based on truth or he’s just trying to keep his TV face on. Or maybe he just thought it was funny

  2. Yeah it’s been a well known accepted thing for a long time. Any minimal research would expose it. The guy settled like 8 cases of sexual assault before this even blew up.

Weinstein is just one of many predatory scumbags that has been protected in Hollywood.

  3. How many of these were innocent jokes and how many were actually relevant to the latest news? It seems like there are a whole lot of jokes nailing this thing down.

  4. Is anyone else thrown by the shoddy middle school play stage design and crowd that sounded like it was 15 people? Was this really the 2015 Oscars?

  5. Just think-not one person in Hollywood supported Rose McGowan when she said he raped her-instead they all turned their backs and her career tanked. Edit-I originally thought she just said he tried to rape her but evidently she said he raped her.

  6. It’s funny until you realize, these people knew something. Why didn’t people speak up?

It always amazes me how we get people like Weinstein, Bill Cosby, or Jerry Sandusky, and people knew for DECADES but never spoke up. And I’m not talking about the victims. That’s tough for them. But the witnesses?

EDIT: Read a recent comment from Rosanna Arquette (sp?) about how she and others feared to speak up due to his power and the threat of retaliation. In this sense, I understand. It’s the same with whistle-blowers. You try to do the right thing, and you get silenced.

  7. Sounds like it was pretty much an open secret. So twisted.

I read brad Pitt put his finger in Harvey’s chest after he did his massage routine to Paltrow. Amazing no one really stopped him though. Goes to show how corrupt you can be with money and power to dangle over people.

  8. Got to respect a person who will call out powerful people like that even knowing they could get a lot of shit for it.

    Seth also said:

    > Wanna know why Hollywood folks hate Trump? We live and work amongst his kind every day out here. His tactics are those employed by the shiftiest of agents, lawyers and publicists. We’ve learned to recognize the blustery showmanship of a lying conman because we encounter it every day in our business.

  9. Transcript:

Seth McFarlane: The 2012 nominees for best performance by an actress in a supporting role, are:

    Sally Field in “Lincoln”

    Ann Hathaway in “Le Miserables”

Jacki Weaver in “Silver Linings Playbook”

    Helen Hunt in “The Sessions”

and Amy Adams in “The Master”.

Congratulations, you 5 ladies no longer have to pretend to be attracted to Harvey Weinstein.

  10. This isn’t the first time…
There were jokes about Bill Cosby, John Travolta, Roman Polanski, Bill O’Reilly, etc. before it hit the news. People were writing “jokes” about it and people outside Hollywood thinks they are just jokes. You can probably comb through a bunch of shows over the last 20 years and find clues on the shit that was going on (Drugs, sleeping with producers/directors, force prostitution, people in the closet).

  11. Seth McFarlane is the oracle or Hollywood strangeness. Remember when Family Guy had a seemingly nonsensical cutaway gag of Bruce Jenner doing a burlesque bit at a USO show? That one made a little more sense a few years later
