Raycons even have it in the name. It’s a marketing scam and they’re garbage compared to even most $50 wireless earbuds
Or better yet, get a wired pair of IEMs for that price that blow them out of the water in sound quality. KZ makes tons of cheap headphones in the $30-40 range that are better than anything you can get in regular retail stores.
I wish he would have shown the frequency response graph for the other earbuds. He uses the graphs to quantitatively show that the Sennheisers are better (no surprise there), but then just qualitatively says that the SoundLiberty 79 bass is “more tastefully done”.
After weeks of searching, if anyone is looking for a cheap pair of wireless buds for just reference audio/watching YT clips without disturbing others, then check the JLAB Go Airs, true wireless, charging station, integrated charging cable, and Honey had a discount that was like $23 shipped.
I was so close to biting the bullet on Raycons and I am glad I didn’t.
It’s definitely one of those products where after you’ve seen a certain number of ads and promotions for it you just kinda assume it’s crap since they need to market it soooo hard.
I have raycons and they’re good. My daughter steals them all the time. One doesn’t charge sometimes, but it gets there. Idk, people cry about everything.
I bought the raycons back when they were like $65 and one of my favorite youtubers was running their ad for them, I was in the market for some ear buds but didn’t feel like paying for the more expensive ones like airpods or galaxy buds but also didn’t want Chinese garbage off ebay/amazon.
They sounded fine in my experience since all I was using them for was my daily walk to and from work and then also keeping one in my ear while I did inventory/closing at my store, They worked fine for music and pod casts, I wasn’t expecting anything amazing in the first place.
Though for some reason the battery in the right ear bud went after about 4 months of use, it would only hold a charge for like an hour compared to the left which held one for like 3, it wasn’t a huge deal as I’d just use the left one and keep the right one in the charge case since I was predominately using one at a time anyway, though you’d have to repair it every time you wanted to go from using one or both as it’s not smart like the higher end ones where you can just use one at a time with no problems.
Anyway, overall I’d say they’re fine for your typical cheap earbuds, plus they seem to do a great job of handing over money to content creators so that’s a plus in book.
I figured they were “average” since they’re pushed so hard as Youtuber sponsors, but godamn, they’re worse than average?
I bought some cheap Soundpeats ages ago, and I figure they’re about as good as those KZ’s. I just grabbed them and there’s no sharpness on the kid either, so that’s already 1 up on the RayJays. 4 times the price is crazy.
I never understand why people get so upset about this. They’re a set of mediocre headphones with a decent marketing budget. How is that different from Beats paying every olympic athlete to wear Beats when they arrive?
Do you think marketing budget comes from nowhere? No! It’s in the price of the product. So sure, the more you spend on marketing the more you need to charge for the product because you need to make a profit. Welcome to capitalism folks.
So like they don’t stay in my ear no matter what I do. I wanted wireless b cause I dance and the cord gets in the way or accidentally ripped out or sometimes I just don’t want my phone on me. These earbuds fall out my ear when lifting my head.
So I was thinking of grabbing those Soundliberty 79s. Or if there is another soundliberty model that are slightly better? Anyone know anything about them? Or should I just spend the money and get airpods?
Wait so the guy famous for deep dicking Kim Kardashian is also the one shoveling advertising dollars at every content creator?
Of course they’re a load of shite if the company is using the same marketing tactics as Raid: Shadow Legends.

Wish he would make more Dankmus music. 🙁
That’s what those furry little bitches are, Julian, that are fucking me over; raycons!
wireless headphones are overpriced and just shit anyway. the chi-fi iem scene is where it’s at if not going for cans.
This is hilarious but seeing a third gen iPad in 2020 makes me twitch.
I mean, they’ve got the word “con” in their name…
You mean all those random YouTubers shoveling this shit were only paid to shovel it?
yeah who knew buying stuff just because someone gets paid to advertise it would lead you to buy an inferior product, right?

You mean something that is peddled by YouTubers is a shit product? Wow.

Wait, Youtube ads would never steer me wrong.

Honestly whenever companies sponsor so many video creators I always assume the product is bad
You mean the youtubers who wear airpods personally lied to me?
Raycons: Brought to you by youtube vloggers that immediately put their air pods back in as soon as the ad is over.
It’s definitely one of those products where after you’ve seen a certain number of ads and promotions for it you just kinda assume it’s crap since they need to market it soooo hard.
Calling the stock KZ cable “super nice” LOL
DankPods has easily become one of my favorite channels over the past couple of months. This dude is hilarious.
Honestly, I’ve got no interest in a pair of headphones owned by a guy famous for being in Kim Kardashians sex tape.
They are almost identical to anker headphones at half the cost.
Raycon good. Wires bad.
Man this guy is hella annoying.
Why does everyone assume they are a comedian?
How do you look at “Raycon” and the box marketing jargon and not immediately see buds you’d get from the Flea Market or gas station?
I have raycons and they’re good. My daughter steals them all the time. One doesn’t charge sometimes, but it gets there. Idk, people cry about everything.
But… Raycon good, wires bad. 🙁

120 AUD, I got my galaxy buds for 150 from people that got them on a preorder and they did not want them
what were the audiophile headphones he was comparing them too.
RAYCON GOOD
WIRES BAD

the raycons huh
I dont understand why isnt everybody buying Skullcandy Sesh. They’re like 30 bucks and they sound amazing.
I honestly cant get into wireless earbuds/headphones at all
I never understand why people get so upset about this. They’re a set of mediocre headphones with a decent marketing budget. How is that different from Beats paying every olympic athlete to wear Beats when they arrive?

I literally had not heard of these until i saw this video. In a way, this guy gave them exposure.
They spent too much money on sponsorships to have quality products
Got a pair of TaoTronics for my birthday because of this video 🤣
I recently bought wireless headphones for gym purposes.
Did some researh, bought the SoundLiberty ones. Very pleased. Feels like quality all around. They deliver. That’s all.
So like they don’t stay in my ear no matter what I do. I wanted wireless b cause I dance and the cord gets in the way or accidentally ripped out or sometimes I just don’t want my phone on me. These earbuds fall out my ear when lifting my head.
Reminds me of the coaxial cables that are “gold plated for highest picture quality” at Best Buy.
i don’t give a shit about headphones, but this was awesome.
Was anyone else expecting [Raycoons?](https://rgbconstructionservices.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Raccoons.jpg)
So I was thinking of grabbing those Soundliberty 79s. Or if there is another soundliberty model that are slightly better? Anyone know anything about them? Or should I just spend the money and get airpods?
Anything a YouTube promotes you know is something you want to avoid.
I don’t doubt that the buds are shit, but Jesus, this video is annoying. I almost want to by them out of spite.
