Love is in the air for our Telly serials! Romance has been explored in different manners, but what clicks with viewers matters at the end!! Let’s take a tour of some romantic TV serials which touched our hearts! ‘Beintehaa’ shows the lead pair sharing a love-hate relationship. This theme has worked in its favour with the lead pair- Zain (Harshad) and Aaliya (Preetika) termed as one of the best young romantic couples. ‘Rangrasiya’ which also aired recently, shows the demure Paro (Sanaya Irani) and the ‘angry-young-man’ Rudra (Ashish Sharma) depict their love through their eyes. Their romance is more in the league of understanding and sacrifice, rather than sensuality. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabattein’ shows a mature yet realistic love story between Ishita (Divyanka) and divorcee Raman (Karan). Who can forget ‘Jodha Akbar’ the epitome of romance which translates on-screen with Rajat and Paridhi touted as the ‘perfect’ romantic pair! ‘Ek Hazaaron Main Meri Behna Hai’ showed Viren (Karan Tacker) and Jeevika’s (Krystle) perfect arranged marriage and dream romance and they set stage on fire with their mutual admiration, care and affection for each other. In ‘Dill Mill Gayye’, Riddhima (Jennifer) and Armaan (Karan Singh Grover) left audiences asking for more with their mesmerizing romance. ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’ portrayed the romance between an 8 year-older Dr.Ashutosh (Sharad Kelkar)and Dr.Nidhi (Kritika). The serial was adored for its romance between 2 generations! Romantic serials never seem to age, nor do they go out of trend!
